Seaside resorts being booked up by holidaymakers who cannot afford to travel abroad are turning to the traditional puppet show to provide entertainment for children.
Places such as Aberystwyth, Looe in Cornwall, Penarth in south Wales and Southend are signing up Punch and Judy shows for the summer season.
