Aberystwyth University was founded in 1872 as University College Wales. In 1894 the University became a founder member of the University of Wales and changed its name to the University College of Wales Aberystwyth.

This picture of 'Aberystwyth University' taken on a summer afternoon - more precisely, it was July 13, 2003 and the time was 6.30pm GMT. My Fujifilm FinePix 2600 Zoom exposure dial was set to the Aperture f/3.5 setting. The camera was handheld, other settings include the white balance that was set to "Auto", being a sunny day - this setting helped me obtain that nice color saturation, which I later enhanced on my computer.
