This photograph taken from the top of Constitution Hill, show Aberystwyth town centre covered in a blanket of snow. Being situated on the West coast of Wales heavy snow falls are very rare especially this close to the beach and it's shore line, you quite often see the hills and their peaks surrounding Aberystwyth covered with a light covering of snow during the winter months where the inland temperature is that much colder.
This picture was taken around lunch time on February 26th 2004, just after a heavy snow fall.
View further photos of Aberystwyth under a blanket of snow in total around 200 were taken in which you see Constitution Hill, Promenade, Castle and Harbour in a winter snow scene.
