On Saturday 27th I popped down to New Quay, which is about 24 miles South of Aberystwyth by car. The sun was shinning and this is one of the resulting pictures, what a difference the sun makes, tourists were out in their hundreds enjoying the sunny weather.

Picture of Aberaeron harbour during a very low tide. The brightly coloured buildings around the harbour with boats to foreground make a great picture!
Your thoughts and comments are always welcome, please post below.
Picture of Llanina Church located in Ceredigion, just North of New Quay, West Wales.
Never seen this church before so took this photo of it, before heading down to the beach which it over looks.
If anyone knows more about it please post below.
Picture of Llanon from the A487, low tides such as this reveal the fish traps (which are more visable on aerial photographs). Looking North over Cardigan Bay you also see Llanrhystud and Aberystwyth in the far distance.

I think it's great to see these cycle routes open up the countryside, the busy country roads are not ideal for cyclists, now those who wish to cycle to work can do so safely. Combined with a healthier lifestyle and greener living, this can only be good for us all.

Raglan Castle built in the fifteenth-century by Sir William ap Thomas and his son William Herbert, later remodelled by William Somerset the third earl of Worcester, 1549-89.
Despite attempts of demolition during the Civil War, much of the hexagonal-shaped Great Tower and state apartments still survive today.
