Aberystwyth Castle Reflections Of A Bygone Age

Thought this image may be of interest to those of you who have a love of histroy, I was given this photo and others of Aberystwyth by a friend, thought it was about time I did something with them.

This picture shows Aberystwyth Castle and in the forground the old cemetery of St Michael's Church, before landscaping. Gives a vivid impression of what you would have seen at the turn of the 19th century.

If anyone has any ideas of when the formal gardens and landscaping started it may help to date this picture.
