Is the big G trying out a new look home page? While browsing the web this morning the Google home page turned to this, I have seen the logo change before but never the background colour.

Could this be the reason... an all white web page uses about 74 watts to display, while an all black page uses only 59 watts. Take a look at the energy usage maths
