Pictures of the Rheidol Valley East of Aberystwyth out towards Capel Bangor. Pictures show the Rheidolhydro-electric scheme dam, the hydro-electric scheme is said to be the powerful of its kind in England and Wales. The visitor centre attracts many people, who come to see the exhibitions, video room and cafeteria. The area is also ideal for pick nicks during the summer months.
If your thinking of getting outside into the elements the Rheidol Valley has many walks to offer you, some easier than others so please take advice before heading off.
The Rheidol River arrives in Aberystwyth harbour where it meets the Ystwyth River before heading out to sea.
