Aberystwyth has been chosen as a base for mountain cyclists to train for the London Olympics.
The area has four internationally-recognised mountain biking trails within 30k of the town.
The University's Department of Sport and Exercise Science boasts cutting- edge facilities including an environmental chamber, allowing the cyclists to train in a variety of hot, cold and humid conditions.
