Aberystwyth Job Centre is located in Alexandra Road opposite the main bus stop in town, the three storey building sites on the former Cambrian Foundry established by George Green in 1850, throughout its working life the foundry produced specialised equipment for the metal mining industry. Gutted by fire 1908 it never resumed production. In 1994 the last surviving foundry building was demolished.

Items include: Electrical goods from fridges to freezers will be accepted so long as they come from domestic properties, also small quantities of asbestos, paint, varnish, thinner, dry cell batteries, lead-acid batteries, fluorescent tubes and general waste from cardboard, paper, timber, garden waste including rubble.

Mondays to Fridays - 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
Saturdays and Sundays - 10.00 am to 3.00 pm

Colourscape is a unique walk-through sculpture where you wander through interconnected chambers, experiencing the intensity and subtlety of colour which changes with your perception.
This structure `SPLIT WINGS` is made by international artists Peter Jones and Lynne Dickens who are based near Aberystwyth. The structure will be situated on ‘Chapel Court', the grassy area next to the Arts Centre.
