SIR – I would like to endorse Mr Thain’s letter (September 23) regarding the switch-off of many street lights in Powys. The authority has most certainly put us all back into the Dark Ages.Will Ceredigion follow the Powys lead in saving money by turning off street light? I guess we will have to wait and see.
